The
ADHD-association in Finland is founded in 1989.
The head office is located in Helsinki.
The association consists of approximately 20
local support groups all over the country. The
main purpose of the association is to support
people with disorders such as MBD, ADD and ADHD.
The association also helps families and other
social networks like relatives, schools,
health-care centers and social workers to
understand the needs of people with a disorder.
The ADHD-association is rather active to arrange
lectures, summer camps and holiday activities.
The association has its own magazine called ”ADHD-lehti”.
